Purpose and scope
This policy explains the principles applied by ARTROTEK TIBBİ MALZEME SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ to protect personal data under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). It covers employees, visitors, customers, suppliers, distributor applicants and other data subjects.
Core principles
Personal data is processed lawfully and fairly; kept accurate and up to date where necessary; collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes; and limited to what is relevant and necessary. It is retained only for the period required by law or by the processing purpose.
Categories of data
Identity and contact details; company, country and professional information; request and message content; transaction-security records; and legal-compliance information may be processed. Please do not submit sensitive personal data through website forms.
Purposes and legal grounds
Data is processed to answer enquiries, manage product and quotation processes, assess distributor applications, provide information security, meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or protect legal rights, on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK. Explicit consent is obtained separately where required.
Transfers and security
Where necessary and limited to the stated purposes, data may be shared with authorised public bodies, legal and technical service providers and relevant business partners. International transfers are handled under Article 9 of the KVKK. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are applied.
Retention and applications
Data is erased, destroyed or anonymised when its purpose and applicable retention periods expire. Requests under Article 11 of the KVKK may be submitted in writing to the company address, from an e-mail address previously notified to and registered by us to info@artrotek.com.tr, or by other methods permitted under the applicable Communiqué.
